Caption: "How to raise money--With autumn leaves supplied by a neighborhood florist ... the Delta Phi Epison sorority embarks on a cancer fund drive which will be expense-free. Esther Katz makes a donation while Bea Wasserman pins on a leaf and Judy Evans accepts a coin. Drive, called 'A Leaf for a Life,' raised $250 the first day;" young women are standing outside, presumably on Brooklyn College campus, with portion of vine-covered building in background. |
