| Summary |
Ferreira returns with a rich drama that intricately interlinks the personal and the political in dealing with the power of memory and how to deal with pain. Irene lives with her 22-year-old son David and her elderly father Mateo, a Civil War survivor. The three are close, but when David decides to move out with his girlfriend Clara, it disrupts the delicate balance of familial relationships, causing a rift between mother and son. Due to a tragedy, they are all forced to re-examine their relationships. |
